The Tennessee Green Industry Field Day is hosted by the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and the Tennessee Nursery and Landscape Association. This field day offers members of the green industry a special opportunity to hear firsthand from UT experts who are researching practical solutions to the industry’s latest challenges.
Open to members of the green industry!
- Hands-on demonstrations
- Classroom-style demonstrations on production, weed, insect and disease management, automation, labor and economics, and other topics, including the “State of the Industry Update”
- Information to help you continue to grow your nursery, landscape, or garden center business
- Commercial applicator pesticide points (usually 6) are offered in categories 3, 10 and 12
- Private applicator points are also available
Details
- Pre-registration is required, limited to commercial operators, and is accessible through the TNLA website
- Morning sessions are held outdoors on the UTIA campus
- Afternoon sessions are held at the Agriculture & Natural Resources Building Auditorium at 2431 Joe Johnson Dr., Knoxville, TN
