Hops from the UT Hopyard Used in Peaceful Side Brewery’s New Farm Road Pale Ale

Last month researchers spent long hours harvesting hops from the UT Hopyard. Since then, breweries have used the hops grown right off Alcoa Highway, including Peaceful Side Brewery in Maryville, Tennessee.

Peaceful Side Brewery has partnered with UTIA on their upcoming beer, Farm Road Pale Ale, which is created with ingredients from across the state, including hops from the UT Hopyard.

After harvesting, the hops were delivered directly to the brewhouse and used within 24 hours to optimize freshness and preserve the flavor and aroma profiles, according to Peaceful Side Brewery. This is the second year Peaceful Side Brewery has created a beer using hops from the UT Hopyard.
