The Department of Plant Sciences wants to extend congratulations to Dr. Vince Pantalone for receiving the Chancellor’s Innovation Fund Award (for Commercialization of Robust Soybean Varieties). The Chancellor’s Innovation Fund Award of $50,000 supports entrepreneurial research led by UT faculty. This award will allow a team of faculty led by Dr. Pantalone to conduct DNA sequencing to make a superior variety of soybean.
